The price of the Venezuelan oil basket dropped one more dollar and hit USD 37.3 per barrel in the international market, informed Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in a press conference on Monday.
The Venezuelan oil lost USD 2 from the price reported in August 17-21. The Ministry of Petroleum and Mining is the official body in charge of publishing official figures on the price of local oil every week. However, the Venezuelan president usually reports oil prices in advance.
The price of the Venezuelan oil averaged USD 56.35 in June; since then, it has lost USD 19.05.
