Argentina-VFs hearing rescheduled for tomorrow
US court appointed mediator in the Argentine debt crisis Daniel Pollack leaves the US Federal Courthouse in New York.
The hearing scheduled for today in New York between US court-appointed special mediator Daniel Pollack and legal representatives of Argentina and vulture funds has been suspended. According to Mr. Pollack, Argentina’s defence could not make it in time to the meeting that had been set for this morning at 11 am.
Today’s was going to be the first time lawyers of the parties involved in the 1.3 billion dollar legal dispute would sit at the same table of negotiations, having both only met separately with mediator Pollack.
The hearing has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 1 pm.
