CFK, Macri to meet Tuesday at 7 pm
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will hold a meeting on Tuesday at 7 pm with President-elect Mauricio Macri at the Olivos residency.
"Our plan is to rule for absolutely everyone. We’ve confronted during too many years, focusing on our differences, but what joins us is much more than what separates us,” Macri told reporters today in his first press conference after Sunday runoff.
He confirmed the telephone conversation he held with the head of state last night, when she congratulated him and invited him to “have their first conversation” on Tuesday.
Cristina yesterday personally called Macri to congratulate him for the election outcome and also talked with his wife, Juliana Awada, ahead of the first lady role she will play when the PRO leader takes office on December 10.
