'Macri is Griesa's spokesman'
Lower House chairman Julián Domínguez.
Lower House chairman Julián Domínguez warned Mauricio Macri, the Let’s Change opposition coalition candidate, suggests “negotiating again with the IMF" in order to carry out "adjustment policies that translate into the Nation sinking into poverty.”
In statements to the Radio 10 station, Domínguez today warned against renewing ties with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as Macri proposes which would account for setting adjustment policies. “Every time Argentina had to discipline itself to adjustment policies, it went wrong,” he stressed adding Macri is the “spokesman of Griesa,” the US judge that ruled Buenos Aires to pay so called “vulture” funds in full in a legal dispute over the country's defaulted bonds.
“He is the spokesman of Griesa in Argentina and Latin America because he proposes to negotiate again with the IMF which means to carry out all the policies that lead to the Nation’s impoverishment.”
