Central Bank raided in dollar futures sales probe

Metropolitan Police officers and judiciary officials this afternoon conducted a raid at the Central Bank headquarters in Buenos Aires city as part of an investigation into alleged sales of dollar futures by its governor, Alejandro Vanoli.

Judiciary officials meanwhile showed up at the headquarters of Rofex futures market to request trading information, ambito.com reported.

The operation was ordered by federal Judge Claudio Bonadio after a complaint filed by national lawmakers Federico Pinedo and Mario Negri.
