Trade surplus plunges 34% in November

The INDEC statistics bureau has revealed the Argentine trade surplus fell 34 percent in November, compared to the same month of 2013.
The trade surplus in November was 461 million dollars.
According to INDEC, exports went down 20% at 5,279 million dollars, while imports decreased 19% at 4,818 million dollars in November, compared to the previous year.
Taking into account the first 11 months of 2014, trade surplus is at 6,612 million dollars, against the 7,898 million dollars registered in 2013 during the same period.
In 2014, exports decreased while export prices of Argentine goods went also down. Agrarian goods prices fell 7%, industrial goods fell another 7%, and fuels decreased 22%.
Only primary products sales registered a year-to-year increase (49%). All other products decreased.
