PM Renzi highlights ties between Italy and Argentina amid holdouts dispute
In a letter addressed to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and sent today, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi expressed his support to Argentina in the dispute with holdouts.
"I have acknowledged with satisfaction your reaffirmation of the Argentine will to pay its debt, which is a valuable key point for international markets," the letter said.
He added he would like "Argentina to confirm and consolidate its path towards growth which Italy will continue to support as an industrial, trade and financial partner."
