UNA presidential candidate Sergio Massa poses for photographers as he casts his ballot.
Candidate to the presidency for the UNA alliance Sergio Massa expressed his confidence in making a good election today assuring “a new stage begins for Argentina.”
“Let’s hope there is no violation of the Law,” Massa said as he described some “incidents” in the Buenos Aires province locality of Chivilcoy where he said some ballot papers had been allegedly robbed.
Accompanied by his wife Malena Galmarini, Massa said the UNA opposition alliance “will do everything to protect people’s vote,” calling for “transparent” elections.
“We have to learn to respect the Law and that there is no violation of it. We have to understand that there cannot be propaganda or rallies to appeal for the vote,” he said adding “democracy is the way to be elected and the most important tool of freedom that all people have.”
