INDEC: GDP down 0.8% in third quarter of 2014
The National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC) has revealed that the Argentine economy contracted a total of 0.8 percent in the third quarter of this year, compared to the same period in 2013.
According to the figures released by the state statistics agency, the first nine months of 2014 showed no variation over the same period of the previous year.
On a monthly basis, October 2014 presented a slim growth of 0.1 percent over the same month in 2013. Compared to September of this year, there was a 0.8 percent increase in activity.
