CFK meets with Hollande at Elysee Palace

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was holding a lunch meeting with her French counterpart Francois Hollande at the Elysee Palace in Paris. Both leaders were expected to release a joint press statement later.
Along with French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, Ms. Kirchner will be inaugurating on Thursday the Paris Salon du Livre that this year has Argentina as a guest of honour. CFK's visit to France comes following news that the
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has arrived at the Elysee Palace in Paris where the head of state will gather with her French counterpart Francois Hollande. Both leaders are expected to hold a lunch meeting and release later a joint press statement.
Along with French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, Ms. Kirchner will be inaugurating on Thursday the Paris Salon du Livre that has Argentina as a guest of honour this year.
Although it had already been scheduled, CFK's visit to France comes following last week's invitation by the Paris Club to Buenos Aires to negotiate paying off its overdue debt, with talks starting in the week of May 26 and chances to set a long-running dispute looming on the horizon.
